Back Up existing Lifelong PHR Data  - You will not be able to install your new software if you already have a version of Lifelong PHR on your computer.  The installation software will tell you to uninstall it.  Before doing so, be sure to save a backup copy of any Lifelong PHR data that you have created.  Uninstalling the program also deletes previous data.

Close Open Applications During Installation - Avoid unnecessary demands on your computer until Lifelong PHR is operational.  Sometimes it may be necessary to temporarily disable anti-virus software.  These preventive measures reduce the chance of any difficulties.

Save your Download before running (installing) it.  Our practice is to save downloads in folders that show the dates when they were made.

Buy a License and  Get Your Activation Key. Unless you have our evaluation software that is good for a limited period of time, you will need to  order and pay for a license,,  Please be very careful to enter your email address and phone number correctly and set your email software to accept messages from "LifelongPHR.com.".  We will email your license key and Quick Start Guide to you.   If we have a problem doing this, we will call you.

Safeguard Your Activation Key.  Once a key has been used, it cannot be used again on another machine.  Make a record of your key, the machine it was used on and the date of the installation.
